Pakistan is still a developing country, There are many reasons that are urging Pakistan not to perspire. Pakistan is a 7th atomic superpower in the world. Today my topic of discussion is “Social problems that are common in Pakistan”.

Social Problems in Pakistan

Corruption:

Corruption is the main problem in Pakistan. In Pakistan, not only leadership is corrupt but somehow the public is also involved in this act. It is a big social problem as most of the people are unsecured in such society. Different political parties are doing nothing in Pakistan except corruption. Corruption is a barrier to the progress of Pakistan.

Bribery:

Most criminals give a huge amount of money to police officers to save themselves, such an act is called “Bribery” which is the most common Pakistan. From normal police officer to high ranked officers, everyone is involved in this crime even political officers, judges, and other govt employees. Now, it has become one of the biggest social problems of Pakistan.

Delay in justice:

Deletion injustice is also the biggest social problem that people are facing in Pakistan. Even when a crime is proved on someone, he remains out of jail until his case is pending. Courts are active but Pakistani Law’s are not much strong to provide justice for anyone. Due to which people avoid going to courts.

Weak democracy:

Democracy is considered as the power of every country. None of the countries can progress in this world without a democratic system. But, Pakistan is facing the problem of a weak democracy. Democracy becomes weak when laws for the poor becomes different from laws for the rich. Unfortunately, Democracy has remained just for the name in Pakistan.

Over Population:

OverPopulation is a social problem not only in Pakistan but in the whole world. The population is increasing day by day. The population is increased “when death rate becomes less than birth rate”. In Pakistan, the population is increasing but resources like food, house, clothes, etc are not. It is strange to know that Pakistan govt is only trying to control Birth rate, however, all the modern and developed countries are trying to increase resources.

Social Problems in Pakistan

Extremist:

It is hard to say but in reality, Pakistani’s are extremist. They are very emotional and take decisions without taking mediation before it. It can’t control themselves while in angry mode. They can trust anyone without knowing him. A number of people were used in terrorism on the name of Islam and many Anti-Pakistani and Anti-Islamic groups are miss-guiding people against Pak army.

Poverty:

Poverty is the mother of all problems. All the problems listed above and below are caused by Poverty. In Pakistan, rich people are becoming more and richer while the poor are becoming poorer than before. Due to poverty, people even can’t afford their basic needs of life. Many people even don’t have their own houses and many people don’t have food to eat.

Uneducated people:

It is also a big issue in our society that most of the people are uneducated, illiterate and backward. While a number of people are less educated, they just pass Matric exams. Due to this, they can’t find a good job and poverty is increasing day by day.

Fewer Health sectors:

It is to be said that “Health is wealth” but there are fewer health sectors and hospitals in Pakistan. Due to the lack of government and public health sectors, harmful diseases spread and it becomes difficult to treat them.

Water Shortage:

Water is required to live alive in this world. According to science, about 70% of our body consists of water. It is impossible for us to live without water. Pakistan is one of those countries that are facing water shortage for a few years. Govt of Pakistan is now trying to save their country from water shortage but it is too late.

Last and Least Words:

Pakistan is one of those countries whom Allah Almighty has blessed with natural resources. Pakistan has everything but a few diseases like corruption, bribery, and injustice had to make Pakistan like this. But still, hope is alive.

According to Allama Iqbal:

گر زرا نم ہو تو مٹی بڑی زرخیز ہے ساقی
